Goods Holding Company 2017 - 2023
I created Goods Holding Company with my colleague and friend, Eva Holman, to make shopping without plastic bags easier. Goods Jars were designed with the tare weight [weight of the vessel] printed directly on them to make shopping in the bulk food section or deli section easier. Plus we wanted the jars to be beautiful and simple.
We feel that Goods Holding Company pushed and encouraged other companies to add tare weights to vessels and we know we educated 1000s of people through the company. We never tracked the number of bags our jars prevented from entering the waste stream but we know we are proud what we accomplished.
